Upon relocating to New York in 1987, Fred embarked on a decade-long journey as a Civil Engineer. However, a pivotal turning point arrived when he decided to transition careers, becoming a Golf Professional. This path led him to work at esteemed establishments such as the Tuxedo Club, Ardsley Country Club, and Wheatley Hills Golf Club. His dedication and expertise culminated in his graduation into the PGA, officially becoming a PGA member in 2002.
